1) Narrow Squat to Sumo Squat Jumps with an EXTREME resistance band just above the ankles for that added bit of intensity.
2) Sumo Deadlifts – Make sure you keep a straight back and your core engaged. You can see in the video how I adjust my position when I know I’m not right! Use a heavy and challenging weight but be careful not to compromise your form.
3) Cable Sumo Squats – Hook yourself up to a cable machine and turn onto the side. Stride out into the sumo squat – this is surprisingly difficulty but also a great exercise for the outer thigh and the core!
4) Sumo Squats – Grab a barbell and go for 4 sets of 10 reps at a medium weight. Make sure you keep your knees in line with your toes as you go down and also be careful not to go too low as we want to avoid posterior pelvic tilt (when your backside curls in at the bottom of a squat).
