HIIT Workout

Performing stretches before working out is important as it helps to prevent injuries.

What is HIIT?

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a form of interval training. It is an exercise form that alternates short periods of intense anaerobic activity with less intense recovery/rest periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise.

The video below is a sped up version of a circuit that Jessica Allen (a personal trainer based in London) recently did. The below 10 exercises can be split up into small sections and performed as a circuit either during one session or a number of sessions split over a period of time. E.g. exercises 1-3 can be done one after another (4 rounds in total) with 60 seconds break in between each round. Alternatively, exercises 1-3 can be done for 1 round, then 4-6 for 1 round and finally 7-10 for 1 round during one workout session. However you decide to split the exercises, these moves are great to incorporate into your routine.
